The Murano combines commanding height with a wide, stable stance. Its body flows tightly around confident wheel arches and big 18” alloy wheels, giving a clear hint at the gripping drive that awaits you. Bi-Xenon headlights and twin exhausts emphasise its bold design. Inspired thinking has fashioned the details, too. The tailgate is made of a strong yet lightweight composite material so it’s easy to lift, and the doors cover the sills, ensuring that your clothes stay clean when you step on board. Just another thoughtful extra that makes the Murano stand out, wherever it is. Its styling suggests that the Murano is decisive and dynamic; the specification confirms it. The 3.5 litre V6 engine is the same award-winning unit used in the legendary Nissan 350Z sports car. The easy-breathing 24 valve, double overhead cam design incorporates lightweight aluminium components and advanced variable valve and intake timing systems. Specially tuned for the Murano, it produces 172 kW of power to make cruising effortless and acceleration instant. The All-Mode 4WD system maintains that progress across varying surfaces, electronically distributing torque between the front and rear wheels as road conditions demand. For traversing challenging surfaces, it can be switched to “Lock” for permanent all wheel drive.
