It refers to two generations of BMW Automobile, they are the E24 launched in 1976, and the all new E63/E64 in 2003, which was available as a coupe and convertible. Models were the 645ci, which later replaced with the 650i and the 630i. BMW M6 is the highest performance of 6 series.
